Think about your New Year's resolutions now and start the new year safely! We've created three posters with useful basic tips on how to avoid cyber attacks. Download them now for free and share them with colleagues if you wish. Or display them e.g. in the conference room, at the coffee machine or in the canteen! Or why not on the toilet? Then they will definitely be read. Read more

Get to know our colleague Jurgen

We are proud to announce the establishment of a new department, specifically aimed at supporting notaries with ICT and telecom. This sector is more than ever committed to digitalization, and the use of new technologies potentially yields enormous efficiency benefits. It is a specific sector with specific needs, where for example, the security of personal data is of paramount importance. That is why we consider it opportune to offer them the specific support they need. To this end, we recruited two new colleagues who join our team with a huge backpack filled with practical knowledge. With Jurgen and Didier, we welcome two fantastic colleagues with a key focus on notaries.

We would like to introduce Jurgen to you in a short interview.

His roots are in Wetteren, but he currently lives with his partner in Meise. There are plans to return to East Flanders soon, more specifically in the beautiful Sint-Martens-Latem, near Ghent.

Fun fact: with Jurgen we now welcome our third East Flemish colleague. Once started with almost exclusively colleagues from Sint-Genesius-Rode or surrounding municipalities, we are gradually starting to attract colleagues from all Belgian provinces.

What did you do before you joined K-Force?

I started in 2006 with the sale of (Proximus) telephone switchboards. I did this until 2011. In 2011 I grew into sales manager to also transfer the tricks of the trade to the sales team. During these years, sales have really taken off.

In 2017 I was active for Ecompass, known from Exemplis, which is of course known from BNN / RNS. BNN / RNS stands for Beveiligd Notarieel Netwerk / Réseau Notarial Sécurisé. 90% of the client base consisted of notaries.

I led a team of about 15 auditors, and we were active all over Belgium. My activity specialized in cabling and telephony solutions (telephone switchboards) in preparation for installing BNN. In the 1.5 years before the roll-out of BNN, we visited about 1000 notaries.

How did you end up at K-Force?

Through various channels and partners, and mainly Proximus events, I already knew Kurt as manager of K-Force. Kurt and I largely share the same long-term vision in many areas. Kurt was looking for extra manpower and knowledge with K-Force to support notaries, and one thing led to another.

What does your new job entail?

My official title is “ICT & telecom expert notary & SME segment”. We want to be as complete as possible in the description, but actually I just want my customers to be able to work in the most comfortable way. I think in terms of solutions that offer added value instead of products. The goal is to look for the perfect solutions to optimize the ICT & telecom environment of the customer.

What is important to you in your job?

The ultimate satisfaction in my job is that I can make my customers happy. If they are, so am I. Furthermore, a good relationship with mutual respect is extremely valuable.

Can you tell us about your personal interests?

I like variety and nice cars. As a motorcycle freak, I like to make tours with my Harley-Davidson Road Glide CVO. As a sporting hobby I play golf.

During his first days at K-Force, Jurgen is already busy following up customer questions and in the coming period he will become more familiar with K-Force and our way of working.

Who challenges him to a golf session on occasion? ?
