Windows 8.1 end of support (10/01/2023)

Windows 8.1 will no longer be supported from January 10, 2023 (end of support).

⚠️ Microsoft will no longer provide security patches and technical updates from that point on, and support with certain software is no longer guaranteed.

⚠️ For example, Microsoft 365 software will no longer be updated if you are still working with Windows 8.1.

⚠️ Without these security patches, a PC with Windows 8.1 will become extra vulnerable to hackers. That is why we strongly advise you not to use your Windows 8.1 device after 10/01/2023.

✔️ You must therefore at least upgrade the operating system (to Windows 10 or 11). However, we suggest purchasing a new PC with Windows 10 or 11 to ensure that your device works optimally. Since Windows 8.1, computers have evolved a lot, and newer Windows versions also have higher system requirements.
